Flew into Miami International, caught a $7.50 Uber directly to the Intercontinental and hung out in the lobby until room was ready at 1:00. Booked into a BayView king room on the 25th floor. Great view of cruise terminal and cruise ships. Perfect way to start your cruise vacation. Room was large, very, very clean with huge bathroom. Staff was friendly and very professional. Very nice pool area with bar and food severe available. Sunday morning caught an $5 Uber straight to cruise terminal and cruise lines front door. Don't pay a cab the $30 they want to get from the airport to the Intercontinental or from the Intercontinental to the cruise terminal. Wait time on Uber at the airport was 5 minutes max. Wait time for Uber at Intercontinental to cruise terminal was 3 minutes. Our king room, with Bayview was $276 and included all taxes and fees.
