The All Star resorts start at $100 per night and the other two range closer to $200 per night. We also highly recommend the park hopper option for your park tickets, kids will like one park more than the others. With the hopper option you can visit each park as many times as you want.

THE #1 HOTEL VALUE DISNEY HOTEL

Located 3.5 miles from Epcot, this colorful animation-themed resort is a 6-minute drive from Disney's Hollywood Studios. 

Bright rooms and suites feature decor inspired by Disney movies, plus free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges. Suites have kitchenettes and 2 bathrooms. Room service is available.

There's a free shuttle to the Disney theme parks and the airport. The resort offers 3 pools (including 1 with underwater speakers which play music), a kids' playground, an arcade and nightly outdoor movies, plus a food court and a pizza delivery service. Childcare services, locker rentals and 24-hour laundry facilities are available (surcharge).

Disney's Pop Century Resort

All Star Resorts by Disney

 

The All Star Resorts are typically the cheapest way to stay on-property at Walt Disney World, which many guests like because it allows them to take advantage of on-property perks. As you will read in this review, this comes with some trade-offs, but we are generally in favor of All Star Music, so long as you have reasonable expectations for it and are comfortable with what you're getting-or aren't getting.

Disney's All Star Music Resort is a value hotel in Walt Disney World that is one of three All Star hotels, along with Sports and Movies. This review features room photos, observations about the hotel, and who might prefer staying here during their Walt Disney World vacation. Music generally seems to us like the least popular of these (based upon our highly unscientific observations), and is also quieter as it generally sees fewer groups (this doesn't mean it sees no groups).

Make a Daily Plan

 

There are 4 major parks, 2 water parks plus many other activities that you could choose. Let's start with how many days you should plan to spend in each park.

All families vary and this is just a suggestion. For instance, families with younger children and only 4 days in the parks might want to do 2 days in the Magic Kingdom & 2 days for the other three parks

It's also a great idea to have 1 day out of the parks for every 4 days in the park. Arrange it however it makes sense for your family.

Pick Dining Options

 

For any table service restaurants you want to eat at, make the reservations as soon as you can (up to 6 months in advance). You can make reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Plan Your Park Tours

People who plan their park touring wait in fewer lines and get to ride many more rides than those who don't.

Here are some strategies for getting the most out of your time in the parks.

Use FastPass+ it lets you reserve access to select attractions, entertainment and more. With the purchase of a ticket or Annual Pass, you can start making selections as early as 30 days before you arrive, or up to 60 days before check-in when you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation.

Plan the first part of the day fairly strictly and then be more flexible the rest of the day. Most people sleep in because they are on vacation, but you can get more done in the first hour than the rest of the day. During the hottest times of year, getting out early is also fantastic for taking advantage of milder temps. It also helps avoid the busiest, hottest time of the day in the parks.

Arrive before the parks open, use Extra Magic Hours (EMH) are extended them park hours available to Disney resort guests. On certain days of the week, guests can enter a park one hour earlier or stay in a park up to two hours later than normal park operating hours.

Consider taking a mid-day break after lunch and then returning to the parks in the evening. This helps keep people from getting warn out and cranky.
