Change / Cancellation Policies / FAQ

All changes / cancellations are subject to additional fees that are imposed by the suppliers.

It’s important to read all terms and conditions of your reservation to see if cancellation or change fees apply. Gopure | Travel Group reserves the right to impose a fee of up to $50 per passenger IN ADDITION to any fees charged by the supplier for any cancellation and/or changes.

Gopure | Travel highly recommends the purchase of Vacation Insurance.

No matter what/where your vacation is, you want to protect your investment. This policy is NOT just in case you need to cancel, it protects every aspect of your vacation, from delayed flights, lost luggage, to medical evacuation from a cruise ship.  It’s very affordable too.

What’s up with a price change on a posted deal?

Prices are a snapshot in time because we’re searching hundreds of other travel sites at once, sometimes there are accuracy issues from the information we’re receiving from those sites.

Either the site isn’t updating their inventory with us, has given the wrong path or another traveler has booked the last available seat.

What hours are your customer service?

Monday through Saturday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM.

Clients on a trip and can call our private number 24/7 – if it is an emergency call 911 or the local police.

What is Gopure Travel’s refund policy?

Because Gopure is not a seller (our service is free), we don’t have a refund policy — that’s handled solely by the provider that booked your trip. Not sure what company to talk to? Check your credit card statement and/or go to Bookings to locate your provider’s information.

However, we will definitely help out in any way possible to help resolve an issue.

Do you have insurance?

Yes! Our E & O Insurance is provided by Travel Insured, a AXII / AAA rated company and covers each agent with a $1,000,000 coverage policy.

Extra Fees /  Baggage fees / Resort fees

Airline Baggage Fees: What you need to know before you fly.

Baggage fees are per bag and per direction. So one way = one charge. Round triptwo charges. If your flight has a connection, bags will generally transfer from flight to flight and no additional fees will apply.

Hotel Resort Fees: What you need to know before you stay.

A resort fee is a daily mandatory additional charge that the hotel separates out from the advertised price. A resort fee is collected separately from the advertised room rate. The resort fee is almost always paid per room, per night (not per person).

Car Rentals: What you need to know before you drive. Insurance Yes/No?

Always check with your personal auto insurance about rental coverage. And those who aren’t covered by their own insurance, are likely covered by their credit card*.

All four major credit card issuers MAY provide some form of rental car insurance coverage. Drivers who aren’t sure about their coverage should call their credit card company before they leave for their trip.

To make sure you get covered, you must charge your entire car rental on your credit card and decline the supplemental collision damage coverage offered by the rental company. If you sign up for that insurance, you won’t be covered by the credit card company – https://www.esurance.com/info/car/myth-rental-car-coverage-is-always-necessary

Vacation Insurance – Protect Your Family

When planning a trip, nobody wants to think about the “what ifs”, but things can go wrong – even when you’re on vacation. Flights can get canceled, luggage can get lost and injuries can occur. Gopure | Travel recommends that everyone purchases a Vacation Insurance Policy to protect your vacation investment and assure you a great vacation.

  • You become ill the day before you’re scheduled to depart on your family cruise.
  • You’re injured while on vacation and don’t have the access to proper medical care.
  • Severe weather forces an evacuation and you must depart early.
  • You fracture your leg and can no longer go on your adventure based vacation.
  • You arrive at the airport but your luggage is no where to be found.
  • Your flight is canceled and you miss a day of your vacation or cruise.

A Vacation Insurance Policy is a quick and relatively inexpensive way to protect your family and your finances so you can enjoy your travels worry-free. Vacation insurance is a type of insurance that covers the medical expenses and financial losses that could arise while you are traveling. It can be purchased for trips of any length and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Cancel for Any Reason

Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) is an optional travel insurance benefit available on some of the plans available with Trip. Usually, this benefit is an additional charge on the plan, but it comes with extended coverage that you may find worthwhile.

Unlike basic trip cancellation coverage, the CFAR benefit has a few eligibility criteria:

Depending on the policy, only available within 10-21 days of initial trip payment.

You MUST insure 100% of your pre-paid, non-refundable trip cost
Cancellation with the travel supplier must occur 48 or 72 hours before departure date, depending on the plan.

Benefits may only cover between 50%-75% depending on the policy.

With CFAR, it doesn’t matter why you have to cancel your trip – you just can. Often times, travelers will purchase CFAR coverage when traveling to a part of the world with civil or political unrest.

This allows the traveler to cancel if uncomfortable with leaving for the trip – second thoughts, fear of safety or a bad omen appeared. Regardless the reason if you are outside 48 hours before your trip, you can cancel.

FUNJET POLICIES

CANCELLATION/REFUNDS

To avoid cancellation penalties, you should consider purchasing one of the optional travel protection plans.

Without travel protection, if you must cancel your reservation, make any changes to departure date, or reduce the number in the party, you will be assessed a $50 per person Funjet cancellation penalty plus any applicable airline, hotel or other supplier charges. Hotel cancellation polices are established by the hotel.

less prior to departure. For all other Air-inclusive, activities only, or hotel only vacations there are no refunds for cancellations

THE AIR PORTION OF A FUTURE VACATION OR SCHEDULE AIR ONLY BOOKING WITH THE SAME AIRLINE, SUBJECT TO THE
APPLICABLE AIRLINE RETICKETING FEE, ANY INCREASE IN THE AIRFARE COST, AND APPLICABLE FUNJET FEES. TICKET
